Can’t get any more Canadian for Canada150 than Steam Whistle Pilsner. Brewed right in Toronto at the original CN Roundhouse beside the CN Tower, “three fired guys” formed this popular Canadian brewery in 1998 (see if you can find 3FG on your bottle). Thanks to Steam Whistle Brewery for coming on board to support J/24 sailing at PCYC 2017 Worlds!
Beaconsfield Yacht Club is hosting the 2017 J24 Canadian Championship July 20-23 in Montreal, and invites J24 friends from Canada, USA, and elsewhere to enjoy another level championship opportunity. Great practice for Worlds/17! Award for top non-Canadian boat.

Port Credit Yacht club with support from Ontario Sailing, was successful in a Sport Hosting application to the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Sport. This grant will support Ontario athletes competing in the J24 World Championships at PCYC in 2017, and provides a lasting legacy to Ontario athletes through partnership with Ontario Sailing. The grant brings two new coaching boats to PCYC and Ontario Sailing for use in preparing Ontario crews for the 2017 J/24 World Championship in September. Following this event, Ontario Sailing will use this boat to support countless Ontario athletes for years to come. Thank you Ontario! (Ontario turns 150 years old this year!)
One of our PCYC J/24 sailors, Rossi Milev, prepared and delivered this J/24 Worlds introductory presentation for PCYC members as a primer for the upcoming event in September. Many members are already working to organize and run the event, with more helping during the event. We continue to raise member awareness, sponsorship, and billet hosts to put visiting J/24 crews up in their homes or boats, and to seek more hands and hearts to welcome 2017 J/24 driveHG.ca World Championship competitors to PCYC this coming September 15th-23rd!
Rossi Milev presented this to PCYC members to invite them to participate in the Worlds as volunteers, sponsors, and billets, and to enjoy this J/24 world class event as an exciting opportunity in Canada's 150th year.
