Please see Yacht Scoring.com for Individual and Cumulative Race Results which will be posted in the moments following race completion. The first race each day is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, and races are expected to last 70-90 minutes, with a break following, and then another start. The length of the break depends on wind conditions. The courses to be sailed will be windward/leeward with 4 or 5 legs.
The 2017 driveHG.ca J24 World Championships includes qualified J24 racers from all over the world. The championship plans for ten races over five days of racing, the whole event spanning Sept.15-23, 2017, with racing from Tuesday Sept.19 to Saturday Sept.23. Race results will be posted regularly throughout the event on YachtScoring here.
This championship must consist of four races minimum (one can never know in advance about the wind conditions, and how many races can be got off). With more than four races, a boat may drop their worst race result for purposes of calculating final results. Sailing Instructions and Notice of Race define the parameters of the regatta, with the Sailing Instructions taking precedence in the case of a discrepancy.
